Early Arrival

My daughter Amelia was born 5 weeks early at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim and although she was a good weight she was having problems breathing. She was put onto a C-Pap machine to help her but it was decided to send her to the specialists at the Neonatal unit in Wellington by Rescue Helicopter. My husband Dean flew across with her and he said the staff were amazing. They told him what was happening every step of the way and reassured him when needed. Thank you and good luck with your appeal. You all do an amazing job.

This was a stressful time for my daughter with her first baby, and a caring and capable team from Westpac helicopter were there when she needed help-what would we have done without them. Please give money to keep them flying to those in need
