My daughter Amelia was born 5 weeks early at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim and although she was a good weight she was having problems breathing. She was put onto a C-Pap machine to help her but it was decided to send her to the specialists at the Neonatal unit in Wellington by Rescue Helicopter. My husband Dean flew across with her and he said the staff were amazing. They told him what was happening every step of the way and reassured him when needed.
